SNOWDON CHALLENGE

Palestinian children’s safety is in danger every day. Consistent breaches of their most basic rights lead to hundreds of children being detained or having their homes destroyed. Around 4 in 5 Gazans rely on donations for survival. Originally refugees, they are imprisoned behind concrete walls and humiliating military checkpoints. Despite the empty rhetoric, the suffering of the Palestinian people continues. Ummah Welfare Trust delivers a range projects in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza strip. Orphans and hifdh students are sponsored; food vouchers and water programmes are implemented; and seasonal programmes always take place, Al-hamdulillah.
