Sisters Stand for Rohingya
Sisters are always passionate about the plight of the Ummah and therefore we have organised a sisters event on Sunday 1st April 2018 at the Bangladesh Community Centre, Leeds. There will be a variety of staff with goods ranging from cupcakes, clothes, abayas, henna, toys etc. The event is between 12pm and 6pm and we would like to see as many sisters at the event as possible. With the huge success of the last Dial-a-Curry event where over £3,000 was raised; Sadaqah Events will be holding another Dial-a-Curry event on Thursday 26th April 2018. The Sadaqah Events team has decided to hold a World Cup Eid BBQ on Sunday 17th June 2018. With the blessed month of Ramadan finishing we really wanted get the community together. The event was a massive success and we can't thank all the people enough for all the live, support and donations that came in. We sold out of food by 6pm; 1 hour early. Rohingya Aid Sadaqah Events will be travelling to Bangladesh to help provide financial support to the million Rohingya refugees that have been forced to leave their home country of Myanmar (Burma). The Rohingya refugees have left everything that they know and all because of the choice of faith. There are now over 1 million refugees in the camp and 400 thousand of them are children under the age of 6
